Well, hello there. I know I have been a little MIA around here lately. I have been feelin' quiet. Last week we spent a couple of days in Louisville since it was Harper's Spring Break. So I have that as an excuse too.
So what is going on in the New Green Mama household? Well, not too much that is terribly exciting. I am still not running. Boo. I have tried a couple of times, but my hip is still really sore. The half marathon is in less than a month. I am thinking about walking it, but I am not sure how my hip will feel about that. I might try to do a long walk this weekend to test it out. Miller has his first baseball game tomorrow. He is going to be so cute in his little baseball uniform. Harper is OBSESSED with American Idol right now, which is fine with me. Now I have an excuse to sit down and watch it.
Ok. Here are some photos from our trip.
This was taken at the Mega Cavern .

We stayed in downtown Louisville so we were able to walk everywhere. This was right around the corner from our hotel.
We visited the Louisville Slugger museum. I thought the whole bat making process was pretty cool .
Harper and Miller wanted to pose by every thing. So I have a lot of shots like this.
We also visited the Science Museum, Glassworks, and had a brief visit to the zoo. I won't bore you with all the photos, but if you want to see them they are on flickr.

Looks like a lot of fun! I love the cute posing. :)
The kids have spring break this week and they don't get to go anywhere. Anya is quite upset about that. At least the program they are in is taking them to some fun places to do fun things. Much better than sitting at home watching cartoons. Wish they realized that!
Jen,
I'm sorry your hip is still not cooperating. When you want to run, you want to run.
It looks like fun was had in Louisville. That is cute the kids wanted to take pictures w/everything. I've got batches of the same kind where the kids are just in a picture, same pose and sometimes with the same looks on their faces, but the scenery is a little different. The one w/your husband in conversation is funny.
I used to live across the river from there in Indiana...I remember that giant bat!!
